Information like a date the house was built or modifications made to a house. Also what piece of land a house is built on and history surrounding such things?|||Your property is either a Torrens property (listed with the Office of the Registrar of Titles) or an Abstract (managed by the Office of the County Recorder)
Go to your local county website and click on "property" or "real estate" or "county recorder." Then go to the Surveyor's Office.
There should be a links there to a variety of historical property maps and documents. You may want to start by looking for your 'parcel number' because many of the links will require this to find a property. Then look for either Torrens or abstract information.
Here is a list of some of the links on my county website under "Land Records Main Menu"
鈥?Reviewing Subdivision Plats,
鈥?Registered Land Surveys and Common Interest Community Plats
鈥?Land Parcel Mapping
鈥?Land Title Registration Reports
鈥?Land Records / Plat Maps
鈥?Property Information Search
If you have an abstract property you shuld have received an abstract document from your lender or title company sometime after you closed your loan. This document can be loaded with information.
If there is no county website or if the site has no property maps, go into the county government office and ask for the information.|||The county auditor. Many counties have an Auditor's website where you can do a property search and pull up all kinds of information about the property, including previous owners and improvements. If your county doesn't have a web site, you can still go down to the county Auditor's office and request the information.|||You'll have to go to the courthouse (I'm not sure which department). They'll tell you how old the house is, what year it was built, how many people lived there and moved out, and who died in there.

Or you can go to a banker, (the person who loans money out to other people to buy houses) and they can give you information too.|||Your county tax rolls should have most of that information. Most counties have this all on line so you can just look it up.

2) WHEN (as opposed to IF) they steal it, you must sue

Then it might not work for long in business. Because once you start your business, then several competitors might quickly copy your idea and lure your customers away.

One of the requirements for a good business idea is that it must be hard for potential competitors to copy.

I do not like to divulge personal information. When I write a check to pay for a purchase do I legally have to give them 2 phone numbers and/or a driver's liscence number? Where can I find these legal rights online?|||In law no one, except your bank in which your money is deposited, is required to cash your check or even accept it in payment of a bill. They do so at their risk. They ask whatever they need to decrease their financial risk. The only things you divulge are things you need to in order to entice them to take your paper and give you cash or merchandise in exchange.
Don't tell them and see what they do.

I have an iphone 4. I am writing a fantasy story. I have a lot of background information that I need so that the readers can understand my world. But I'm not sure one how to show this information. Should I write an introductory chapter/prologue, or what?|||I hate prologues and introductory chapters in most books. Few authors can do them really well, and most books would be just fine if they were cut off. Many writers have a proclivity for giving too much information, when they should just get to the story and let details come out as needed.

But, this is your book, not mine!

Pick up some of your favorite fantasy books and study the first few chapters. How does the author convey the information that he or she needs to get across? Have you read prologues that you really liked or disliked? Why were they so good or bad?

Why not start writing the story, and see how it comes out. Once you start getting the action on paper then you may have a better sense about what needs clarifying and how to incorporate it. No one said you have to start writing a story at the beginning!|||You must study the works of others who have worked in the same way. For example, Austin Tappan Wright imagined completely the world of "Islandia" decades before he wrote it. A critic called it, "the very Devonian outcrop of Neverneverland." A second author is William Rice Burroughs. He wrote 30+ Tarzan novels and 10 novels about John Carter of Mars. Burroughs daydreamed about it for decades until he was encouraged to write "the stories." (Note: The first three Tarzan stories are good. The first three Mars stories are good. Do not stray.) A third author is Margaret Mitchell, "Gone with the Wind." I think, but I do not know, that Margaret Mitchell wrote in the same way: She imagined completely the way of life that was, "gone, gone with the wind."|||Well, you can write an introductory chapter - that's what I usually do - or you can simply grab the reader's interest with a completely different universe and integrate the necessary information into the entire book.|||Well, I gave some details about the main character and the setting, and got started. The rest I explained as I came to. You don't really want to tell everything there is to know about the background at first (it will get boring). You can explain a little here and there as needed and in some cases explain things through dialogue (really depends on who the characters are and what they know). Use variety, and dont say too much at once.

Information like that.|||You are taking a huge chance. Humans make challenging pets. They are unpredictable and resist captivity. The best thing to do is give them a job so they have to spend most of their days working for you and get so frenzied doing so that they have no time left for anything else. In what context are they using the word information? If I delete a file on my computer it is lost information. If my dog eats my homework it is lost information. If I lose a phone number written on paper it is lost information. If I forget the combination to a lock I have to throw it out. Tesla's information about his best discoveries were lost with his death. Edward Leedskalnin's information on antigravity is lost. It seems to me information is lost all the time. What am I missing here? I've heard every molecule of water has information in it. What are they talking about?|||This usually relates to the question of whether information is lost crossing the event horizon of a black hole. Black holes are very simple things, capable of having the properties of mass, spin, electric charge and that's about it. So, if you toss a rocket into it, how could the universe possibly tell after the fact that it wasn't a meteor of the same weight, charge and spin. Where is the information differentiating between rocket and meteor being held? Further, since the black hole is destined to eventually evaporate via random Hawking radiation, how is any rocket information brought back into the universe?|||This is a corollary to 2nd Thermo. : information can not be untangled without increasing entropy. (paraphrased) Entanglement is knowledge within a system. For example, you remember you deleted your computer files, you remember you lost a phone number, and you remember you forgot your combination. You are entangled within the system, be it local or across the horizon or on the other side of Andromeda. Information is lost when entanglement is undone and reverts to a ground state, not when you forget your keys or your wallet or your password to your computer.|||The law of conservation of energy says that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only converted from one form to another. This is the same idea with "information". Information is used as a general term for all mass and energy and what it was doing as some point in time.

For example, if you blow up a chair, all the "information" is there. Therefore, using all the information after the explosion, we can reverse the blown up chair and recreate what the chair was like before it was blown up into pieces!

Hope this helps!

I think yahoo answers is GREAT! I've learned everything from politics, history, religion all the way through sex education. Stuff I cant share with my parents Ive been able to find the answers. Anyway I've been using a lot of the information already in school. How do I cite it as a reference. Do I say from a source in Yahoo Answers? I just have been writing it in my reports mainly social studies and biology and not saying it came from Yahoo but crediting it to another source. I think all you great people who take the time to give me such good information and advice should get credit for your great work.|||I get very angry when people try to have Yahoo Answers people do their homework. If your teacher knows that you're using Yahoo as a substitute for homework, I'm betting they give you a ZERO. It's horrible - each night I see people who are obviously posting their homework here, even when it would be quicker to google the answer.

The only difference would be someone who takes some sort of opinion or experience poll. Even then it would be very unscientific and of little value aside from some colorful comments. If you do that then I'd print out the web pages you're gonna quote, and have those ready if the teacher / prof asks for them.|||As a social studies teacher and history major, I can tell you that these would NOT be credible sources.

After all, how do you r e a l l y know that what I say is true?

Sources worthy of citations must be reliable beyond doubt. Remember - primary sources, secondary sources, wild guesses!|||I am new, and have already answered many physics and mathematics questions along with elaboration in psychology and philosophy...

However, you stated that you first blamed the information on other sources, ones that may not include someone telling you the answer... I think it is best for you to credit the information to another source, because a teacher may not like the idea of you getting answers straight from someone else.

Paraphrasing is great, that way you can give credit to not only many sources, you can also give credit to yourself. :)|||Because you are trusting the accuracy of the information given by an unknown third party, it would be best to double check your answers. I could tell you quite believable that there are actually 8 species of trout that live in the waters of New York State, but that doesn't mean it's true.

If they give a reference, just verify it, and use that as your reference. You're still getting the information from that, you just had a third party point you in the right direction. If they don't, do a Google or ask.com search to try a confirm the data on a reliable website, not just something someone has posted. Now that you have the answer, it should be easier to find something which corroborates it.|||use it as if it were a question answer thing... an interview.
give credit to the name of ther person or the screen name i assume... look on citationmachine.net for the interview citation|||i think you could--I've seen references in books quite a lot as 'personal communication' date and time, but those are generally well-known people. You could try to contact the answerer in order to get permission to quote and to find out a little bit more about their credibility. I know I do my best to be accurate, but from some of the answers I read, not every one does!
As another poster wrote, I would definately check up on answers that you receive here from other sources--surely they are teaching you in school ways to judge the credibility of a website.
In fact, you could simply say to your teachers, "I've been using Yahoo Answers as a first source when trying to find something out. Should I cite that person as well as the other sources I go to to verify that answer or not?" Then you'd know for sure what that teacher wants! (and you will note, I've implied you always have verified the answer you got from Answers)|||I agree with everyone else. I would be very surprised to find a teacher that would accept yahoo answers as a credible source. I would take the information I found out on here, search for it, confirm it, and then cite THAT source. If you cite yahoo answers directly a teacher probably wouldn't count it as a source, which I suppose is fine unless you need a minumum amount of sources.

If it's an opinion report, you could cite other peoples opinions kind of like youd cite them when referring to an interview.

Man came to existence about 4 million years ago, and dinosaurs extinct about 65 million years ago. How come humans have information about dinosaurs if they extinct before humans existed? I know its based on scientific evidence like fossils, but information attained is too much that makes us think we existed at the period?|||It's called radio-carbon dating.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio-carbo鈥?/a>|||they have found very old bones and relatd them to the species they know of.

|||It is based on comparing fossils and the rocks we find them in to the world around us. You find a complete fossil (or almost complete). You have enough bones to figure out something about the creature. Now, you get detailed. Take each bone and compare it to modern bones and find similarities. From the modern animals you can find how these attributes affect the animal. Also, the bones tell us more than just the size and shape of the animal. We can find where the muscles attached to the bone and get an idea of the anatomy of the creature. Analyze the teeth and find out if the creature was herbivore or carnivore or a little of both. Assemble the bones and find the skeletal limits of motion. This will tell you how the creature was capable of moving. The size of the ocular cavities will tell us about the eyes and the size of the brain cavity will give us an idea of the brain. The stories a pile of bones can tell are numerous.

That is just the bones. If we look at the rock and/or dirt where the skeleton was found, we can also learn amazing things. Different types of rock are formed differently. Limestone does not form the same as sandstone. They do not form in the same kinds of areas. A sandstone might indicate a beach or river. The limestone might indicate deep water as in an ocean or lake. Look at what else can be found in the area. Microfossils can tell alot about the environment. Plant fossils are also very telling. There are even more ways to deduce from a fossil find the ways and lives of dinosaurs.

Factor in that there are thousands of people doing research in the field of paleontology and they have been at it for decades. The man-hours alone are probably in the millions. That is a lot of time to spend studying a subject. Every day new discoveries are made, so our knowledge of dinosaurs is constantly becoming greater.

I am not sure about your last sentence. Are you suggesting that man kind knows so much about dinosaurs because we lived at the same time they did? If so then you are wrong. There are no human fossils in the same layers as dinosaur fossils. There are not even ape fossils in the same layers as dinosaur fossils. Mammals were just getting started and were more like rodents back then. It was a few million more years before anything human like showed up on the scene.|||Can't see what your problem is. The bones tell you a huge amount about these creatures - how big, how fast, how vicious, etc etc.

Dinosaur nests tell us they laid eggs, and in some cases the level of fossilised footprints around nests, tells us that they may have even stayed around to look after the young.

Teeth marks in the bones of Tricerotops match the size and shape of T Rex's teeth. So, we know T Rex preyed on these grazing animals.

The thing is that people who study anatomy and bones can find a one inch part of a jawbone and pretty much tell you what animal it came from.

It is no different to the modern forensic scientists who can piece together bits of human remains to show how the person died. These people dedicate their lives to attaining that skill.

It's no mystery, I assure you. Just hard work and dedication.|||The fossil record shows that humans didn't exist at the time of dinosaurs.

Everything we know about dinosaurs comes from fossils.

Whoever brought up radio-carbon dating is being silly. Carbon dating is obvoisuly not applicable to dinosaur fossils.|||Your information about humans is a little inaccurate. Although humanoids might be as old as 4 million years, Homo Sapiens didn't appear till about 100,000 years ago. Modern man, Homo Sapiens Sapiens appeared about 10,000 years ago. To answer your question by examining the fossil record, and painstakingly applying logic to questions raised, mankind is learning more and more about dinosaurs every day. The same question could be asked about any extinct species, such as trilobites, which died out with the Permian Extinction, or any other species that died out during any of the five major extinctions in the Earth's history. That is what the Science of Geology is all about, applying logic to clues left in the fossil record.|||Fossils...Thats all we know about Dinosaurs...|||we looked it up the wilkipedia

In regard to correct information, not straight up lies.

What are the methods involved in taking real information (such as statistics, data, or personal information) any representing it in a way that isn't accurate, but isn't false.

For example, what can someone do to different types of graphs to make them appear to support a particular opinion. Or what are ways people word things to make true information seem supportive of their opinion?|||People can be biased in their reports, i.e., they use lots of metaphors and strong, and infamous words that bring up images in people's mind.

Say for example, "Even though Professor Henry Louis Gates teaches at Harvard University, he is black; and that barbarism and savagery will break through any kind of domestication -- in the greatest country in the world -- or in the depths of the abyss."

Not only that, people can only present half of the story.

For example, "White Fire Fighters were not promoted because not enough people passed. "

The truth, "White Fire Fighters were not promoted because the Liberal Government were un-satisfied with minorities not passing the test."

And don't forget if an author of reports is popular and is known for integrity, he can take advantage of that and use his fame for his own purposes, rather than what is right.|||People only present part of the statistics and leave some important part out. For example, drug companies report that say 60% of depressed people get better from taking anti-depressants. What they don't report is that 80% of depressed people get better from psychotherapy alone and that those people tend to avoid getting depressed again in the future. What the drug companies would be reporting is true, but they just don't say the whole truth.

Another way is to demonize the source from which the information came - to discredit that source.|||People can use logic information but present it in a biased and emotional way, to pull a guilt trip on the audience. This technique connects with the reader in a level to distract them from the real info being presented, and force them to think a certain way because of the emotional reminder/ feelings they encounter.

I often use my Philosophy degree as a positive and explain that the degree taught me to dig deeper into ideas and then the ability to explain the information or the reasons for it in a way that others can understand it. You can find information all you want, but you have to be able to explain it to the people that can affect the information. I try taking a negative (Philosophy degree) into a positive to head off the concerns of the reader.

How Information Systems can be used in a businesses, such as airlines, to assist in the decision making process?|||Management Information Systems were initially desgined for decision support and were called decision support systems. For an Airline, you can allow reservations through a computer. With the proper MIS software loaded you can gather information like the demography, geographical, labor class wise etc; the different segment using your services more often and can run your mission to cater to their needs and this will improve your customer satisfaction and customer retention. An accounting MIS package can give you information on your performance at the press of a key and help you take decisions faster on how to improve your performance for growth or improved services. You can control your operations to see where you loose money the same way and cut back on unnecessary expenses. You can manage your inventory, food and beverage, seat allocation, luggage information, landing schdules, take off schedules, either in isolation or integrated to take decisions. You can even creates alerts when criticalities are reached where decisions has to be made manually. Rerouting, transferring passengers etc; can be handled usin these decision support systems cost effectively. Finally you can control the payroll, material purchases, marketing decisions etc; using MIS and decision support softwares tailor made for your business.|||Decision making is a set of trade offs. The decision maker look at the alternatives available and picks up depending upon the time on the hand in the face of risk.

Decision making process becomes effective only if decision behaviour under psychological stress is taken into account.

The system if standardised, information can be structured so as to identify the areas of deviations from the set standards to work on.

Managers use reporting system to hv control and getting insights into what is happening and going on in the present context.

I live in Michigan, and I am wondering what information they ask on the paperwork?|||I just went through this and its is relatively easy as long as your not a felon. You can do this at the gun shops but its easier and quicker to just go to your local police department. You will fill out the form and they have some really stupid questions on it. For instance if your gun is stolen you have 1 year before you have to report it to the police. False as soon as it happens. Just about 10 questions like that. And aslong as your have never been convicted of a felony or are a wife beater then you will get the license to go and purchase your gun. Make sure you know what your getting ahead of time the license is only good for 10 days. I would reccomend going to cabellas in dundee. Its a little bit of a drive but the selection and price beats the hell out of the local gun shops and gander moutain. After you buy your gun the dealer keeps a portion of your license. You take one portion of your license and keep for your records and the other 2 pieces of the license go back to the police. If for some reason you do not buy a pistol before your license runs out make sure you take it back to the police department or else it may hurt your chances of getting another license in the future. If you are looking at a semi auto i would have to reccomend you look at the FN Herstial brand in the 40 caliber. I love mine it is amberdextroious, has a manual slide safety and has a decocker. It has great capacity of 14 in the clip and one in chamber.|||While you're in the gun shop looking at pistols, ask the salesman what you have to do to buy it. He will be up on Michigan state laws as well as local and federal law.|||In Missouri all you need is a valid drivers license, from there you fill out the paperwork (at the gun store) and your done. Here, you can walk in and out in 20 minutes as long as you don't have a criminal record.|||To purchase a handgun from either a dealer or private individual, the buyer must obtain a license to purchase from the chief of police if the buyer lives in a city, or the county sheriff if he lives in an area without an organized police department.

The buyer must be 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, a resident of Michigan, have no felony conviction, have never been adjudged insane (unless later restored by court order), and score 70 percent on a basic pistol safety review questionnaire.

The license to purchase must be filled out in triplicate at the time of purchase. The license shall include a description of the handgun sold and the signatures of both the buyer and seller. The seller may retain one copy and the buyer retains the other two.

After purchase and delivery of the handgun is completed, the buyer must return the license to purchase along with the purchased handgun, unloaded and encased or trigger locked, to the local licensing (law enforcement) authority within 10 days.

The buyer (licensee) will then be issued a safety inspection certificate (registration) for the handgun. One copy of the license will be held by the local authority for six years and the remaining copy shall be forwarded to the Commissioner of State Police.

The license, once issued, becomes void if not used within 10 days. A valid Michigan CCW holder is exempt from license to purchase requirement, however is still subject to the registration requirements and a criminal background (NICS) check.|||There is no license to purchase - unless you are talking about a license to carry a concealed firearm.

To purchase a pistol:
Must be 21
Driver's license

The federal form will ask if you have ever been charged with a felony, you are US Citizen, No domestic violence, etc.

If you are inquiring on a conceal carry license/permit see the attached link.

Does the landlord have the right for a background check? A credit check? Call ur previous housing for payment information? If you have already given down payment and first month rent payment when should the landlord authorize the move in date?|||Yes, you may do a credit check...however...legally, you need written consent from the tenant, and it needs to be kept on file for 5 years. I'm not sure if you need written consent for a background check, though. Yes, it's fine to contact previous landlords. As far as the move in date, that should be specified on the lease ahead of time.|||They have a right to any information they can get about you. Wouldn't you want to do the same if you were the landlord?|||I would say that the landlord legally has the right to conduct a background or credit check as well as contact previous housing representatives to verify payment details prior to a new tenant moving into his or her apartment.

These days these methods are quite common in order for a landlord to figure out whether or not you have been responsible in paying your rent on time.

You may want to contact the landlord to inquire how soon you can move in since you have already submitted a down payment for the first month's rent.

Every landlord may have a different way of doing this since it varies by state laws.

Hope this info helps you.

God Bless and Have a Happy and Healthy New Year.|||Everything you listed is right, because what matters the most is that you have a responsable renter.

I'm in grade 12 and I want to know what education I need to get into an IT career.

I live in Toronto, Canada and there are only 2 Universities (outside the city) that offer a Bachelor of Information Technology.

There are three colleges in my area that offer diplomas for Systems Technology, Systems Technician, Information Systems Business Analyst, and Networking.

Is it better to get a diploma from college or a degree to get started in information technology?
Is there any other way of starting an IT career?|||Have you considered online IT courses? There are many accredited, cost-effective bachelor's degrees in information technology.

Learning online not only saves you thousands of dollars, but you'll start reaping the rewards of continuing your education sooner--every certification you earn increases your marketability and opportunities for advancement.

Are online degrees easier or less time-consuming than traditional universities? Well, not necessarily. You can generally expect to spend an equal amount of time--and sometimes more--studying for an online degree. After all, you're managing your own learning, using the online information and materials.

Self-guided learning requires strong study skills, self-motivation, and abandoning any tendency to procrastinate. Developing a schedule that includes a couple of hours each day to devote to a learning management system course is essential, and making it into a routine will help out in ways you never imagined. Remember that at its essence, a schedule is meant to save you time.

Also in contrast to many traditional classrooms, the multimedia approach employed by online courses often addresses many different learning styles. In addition, online degrees more freedom and flexibility in your own instruction. The flip side is that you have to be a person willing to carry the responsibility that comes with freedom and flexibilty.

But if you believe you're able to motivate yourself without the pressure of an instructor (who will act more as a guide than a dictator) or your peers, then you may be ready for an online IT degree. Of course, support is usually available in some form. Many online degrees offer opportunities to interact with your instructor or peers through email, telephone, discussions, chats, etc.

I'm Eve and in January planning to cycle to and from school every day (about 8-10 miles altogether). I'm wandering what information I'd need to know to be cycling on the roads. I will be on roundabouts also. Thanks very much, Eve, 13.|||I ride 20 miles, one way, 3-4x a week.

The others give some good advice. The only knowledge you need is the rules of the road for cars. Stay in your lane. Most laws say you can take as much of the lane as needed for safety, but you should stay as far to the right as possible. Avoid the gutter area (about a foot or two from the curb) as that's where all the junk that can flatten your tires ends up. Cars are supposed to give cyclist at least 3 feet of clearance for safety. Stop at red lights & stop signs. I stop in the middle of the lane to prevent cars from trying to squeeze past me and possibly hitting me with their mirrors.

Know how to fix a flat & have the tools (pump, tire patches, tire levers, and spare inner tube) you might need to do it. Wear a helmet, have lights and reflective gear for night and fog riding, wear a helmet. Carry a cell phone in case you have any problems you can't fix. The suggestion to take one route & make sure your family & friends know it was also a good idea. So would be making sure they know when you leave and calling them if anything changes so they know when you should be at your destination.

Buy a floor pump & check your tire pressure regularly. It's a lot easier to fix tire pressure with a floor pump; small bike pumps are really only good for emergencies. Buy chain lube & lube & clean the bike's chain at least once a week (more often if it rains). Make sure you have comfortable riding clothes & something to keep your pant leg out of the chain as well. Glasses will keep your eyes from watering when the wind blows or if you ride at higher speeds.|||what kind of bike do you plan on riding. depending on how fast you plan on going and what bike you will be riding always ride with traffic. stay on the sidewalk when you are able to. i'm a road cyclist, and rarely use the sidewalk, but at your age and experience you should stay to the sidewalk. stay off of busy streets and follow all of the rules of the road. for instance, stop at all red lights and stops signs. you have to have the other kind of street smarts. always think of yourself as not being seen and take every precaution you can. sooner or later you'll feel comfortable and be able to make that ride in your sleep. if it's early in the morning wear something bright or reflective. you may want to get a little red flashing light that hooks to the back of your clothing. they are about $10 and can be a valuable safety item. also, learn to fix a flat and carry everything you need to change it. always carry a cell phone just in case. always take the same route and let you parents know what it is in case there is any problems they know where you're at. lastly give yourself enough time, always wear a helmet, and have fun. that's great that you're riding to school, more people should do it. you should be able to make that 4-5 mile trip in around 20 minutes or so.|||You need to know the rules of the road. Basically, it's the same traffic laws a car would follow. Stop for red light & stop signs, ride with traffic, use hand signals for turning, etc. Be extra careful on the roundabouts, cars may not see you since they're trained to look for other cars. Wear brighly colored clothes for extra visbility, use a reflective vest and lights if you are riding in the dark. In daylight, you could even use a flashing white headlight and flashing red taillight.

Be sure to carry a spare tube, patch kit and pump in case you get a flat tire and make sure you know how to change a flat as well.

I need to know about the annual Christmas bird house what information is gathered.|||Prior to 1900, groups of hunters chose sides and competed to kill the most game in holiday "side hunts." Wildlife conservation was in its infancy at the turn of the century; wild birds were shot at will for home cooking, restaurants and the millinery trade.

That set the stage for one of the first attempts to engage the public in conservation. It began on Christmas Day, 1900, when ornithologist Frank Chapman organized groups of birders to see who could identify, count and record the most species.

Today the annual Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is the longest running citizen-science program in the world. CBCs provide a snapshot in time of winter bird populations. Information collected over many years is particularly valuable because it illuminates long-term population trends. CBC data is frequently used in peer reviewed scientific publications and has been used to link bird population declines to climate and habitat change.

CBC data can even be used to illustrate trends in local bird populations. Using data from the last 50 years compiled by birder Jim Valimont, several trends become apparent. In 1960, for example, local counts reported no ring-billed gulls, no red-bellied woodpeckers, one Canada goose, four American robins, six Carolina wrens, 66 American crows, and 56 ring-necked pheasants. By 2008, counts for these species changed significantly: ring-billed gulls jumped to 583; red-bellied woodpeckers, 171; Canada goose, 1,415; robins, 1,020; Carolina wrens, 274; and crows, 10,260. Not a single pheasant has been reported since 2000.

Urbanization, habitat destruction and climate change are just a few of the reasons for changes in bird populations. But absent long-term CBC data, these trends may have escaped detection completely.

I haven't been to a doctor in at least 4 years, and i'm moving to another state. Just wondering what sorta information i'll need when getting a new doctor.|||it would be nice if you had some of your medical records. they will want to know about any past surgery's or hospital stays and what meds.
you are taking and what your medical problems are. its been so long since you have been to a doctor they will probably want you to have a physical and blood work to get an idea of your health. when you see a new doctor they will have you fill out new patient forms, just put down what you know and they will go from there.|||You just need your medical records and a good memory :-).

Basically, the doctor will want to know your health history (your past and present health status), and your medical examination findings (what the health-care providers observe when you are examined).

Other information may include lab test results; medications prescribed; referrals ordered to health-care providers; educational materials provided; and what plans there are for further care, including instruction for self-care and return visits.

That will give the clinician a feel for what has happened before to you. As a result, it may often give clues to current disease states. It includes several subsets:

Surgical history

Obstetric history

Medications and medical allergies

Family history

Social history

Habits

The history of vaccination should be included.

Finally, like I hinted, you should be able to talk about most issues concerning your health.

I hope it helps!

Just as it was the first time you asked it.|||I agree with Kris. I can't believe you're a top contributor in baseball...it's obvious you know nothing.|||you missed bob carpenter and don sutton [nats] GREAT!!!!

How about that 2008 Draft Class?

Darren McFadden, Jake Long, Jerod Mayo, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Jeff Otah, Felix Jones, Rashard Mendenhall, Chris Johnson, Dustin Keller, Brandon Flowers, Tracy Porter, Eddie Royal, John Carlson, Matt Forte, DeSean Jackson, Ray Rice, Terrell Thomas, Jamaal Charles, Jermichael Finley, Tyvon Branch, Tashard Choice, Ryan Torain, Tim Hightower, Pierre Garcon, Steve Johnson, Peyton Hillis, Davone Bess, Benjarvis Green-Ellis, Danny Woodhead, Danny Amendola, Garret Hartley. Jonathan Stewart, Ryan Clady, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Keith Rivers, Chad Henne. (there's prolly more)

That was an impressive draft class right? Great year to draft a Runningback. Lol.

What if we had a game with the 2008 draft class vs. this years draft class (Bradford, Suh, Spiller, Dez Bryant for example). Who would win?|||It's hard to say who would win a game between those classes. The 2008 group has had time to get established in the league; so I would say them.

I agree the 2008 class could go down as one of the best ever.

But the 1989 draft that had Troy Aikman, Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, and Derrick Thomas- all Hall of Fame players- in the first round may be better.|||Someone needs to draft that Stevan Ridley from LSU this year. Have you seen the man?

Defenders don't tackle Ridley. He tackles THEM and then he falls in the process because he trucks them so hard.|||Chad Henne was not a good pickand I don't even know who Tyvon Branch is, but other than that, yeah.|||'08. easy.|||wow!! yea one if not the best draft classes in ages!! 2008 would win against anyone|||2008 was the Greatest Running Back Class

I am sure i am missing a few .what do you think?|||1990s by far. I grew up on the Bulls dynasty. That was the golden era of basketball, besides the 80s.|||Neither era was particularly competitive...with a slight edge toward the 2000's in that regard. I'm a life long bulls fan, but as a devout NBA fan, league wide the 2000's was better. Now this current era is as competitive as I can remember. Great year for the NBA!|||From what I remember of the 1990's I definitely prefer the 90's. I'm younger though so I only remember 1996 and up clearly.|||90's|||90's|||they both has some beasting player.

Out of the players listed in the question, which one is most valuable to the team on defense?

Keep in mind this player has to be the biggest impact on defense and explain why you feel that person is.

Ray Lewis for the Ravens

Patrick Willis for the 49ers

Lofa Tatupu for the Seahawks

Bob Sanders for the Colts

Brian Urlacher for the Bears

DeMarcus Ware for the Cowboys

Joey Porter for the Dolphins

Jared Allen for the Vikings

Troy P for the Steelers

D'Qwell jackson for the browns

Marcus Stoud for the Bills

John Henderson for the Jaguars

Keith Bullock for the Titans

Jerod Mayo for the Patriots

Shawn Merriman for the Chargers

Justin Tuck for the Giants

Ashante Samuel for the Eagles

Nhamdi Ashomuga for the Raiders

I didnt do everyteam so dont be mad if i didnt select your team.|||Just based on last season, it was Shawne Merriman. The Chargers had the 25th ranked total D %26amp; 31st ranked pass D in the NFL, %26amp; they still had 2 ProBowl caliber CBs in Quentin Jammer %26amp; Antonio Cromartie. Without Merriman, SD has no pass rush, %26amp; it directly affected the secondary. The Chargers need him to make a big impact, because the attention other teams must commit to Merriman because of his great pass rushing skills opens things up for other guys like Shaun Phillips. Not to mention his toughness %26amp; leadership skills motivate everyone on the team.|||Bob Sanders for the Colts.

In 2006 when the Colts won the Super Bowl Sanders missed most of the regular season and the defense finished ranked 22nd. Then he returned for the postseason and the defense made the Colts win the first couple of playoff games where Manning was shaky.

He played most of 2007 and not only he won the defensive MVP award, but the Colts defense finished 3rd overall. Last season he played 6 games and the defense finished 11th, there is an interesting proportion between the number of games Sanders plays and the overall performance of the defense.|||Bob Sanders for the Colts

Very different team without him. Heart and soul of their defense.|||Bob Sanders doesn't play full seasons, the colts are getting used to it and Melvin Bullet his back up played like a starter, without Nhamdi Ashomuga can u name another Raiders defensive player? hes probably the best corner in the league right now and if it wasn't 4 him they would have been a potential 0-16 team|||i CAN name players from the Raiders defense

Kirk Morrison, Michael Huff, Derrick Burgess

Troy Polomalu

the Steelers defense is the best in the league and he has a huge role in that

He is the league's most dominant safety and one of the hardest hitters

he plays smart and he has great leadership

as much as i hate to admit it|||I know I'm not really answering the question, but I actually think Ed Reed makes a bigger impact on Baltimore's defense than Ray Lewis does.|||Bob Sanders for the Colts.

Sanders is injured frequently and its easy to see how much better that defense is with him and how much worse it is when they dont have him.

Who are gonna be the steals of this year's draft?

DeJuan Blair will be a steal. Jodie Meeks is probably considered a steal if he can last 5 seasons in the NBA. Sam Young, Chase Budinger, Patrick Mills, and Marcus Thornton are the most likely steals from the 2nd round this year. Taj Gibson and Demarre Carroll are also likely steals from the late 1st round.

Recent steals are mostly guys with proven college track record (upperclassmen) who are overlooked due to limited upside.

1984: Michael Jordan, John Stockton, Jerome Kersey|||Wow you put a lot of work into this question. For that you get a gold star! But anyways, I think Dejuan Blair will be the steal of this draft. I know it is only preseason, but he had 19 rebounds last night, along with 16 points. Good Question!|||chase budinger. Did you see him against the spurs last night|||Keep your eyes on Stephen Curry|||Tyreke Evans, poor man's Dwade|||Dejuan Blair the "grizzly blair". 16 points and 19 rebounds in like 22 minutes. This guy takes up so much space, kinda like a smaller shaq. Every other team in the league was so devastated when the Spurs drafted this grizzly blair!|||Great question and i value your effort but i do have a different view on what a draft "steal" is. To me, a steal is someone that plays well above their draft position for an extended period of time. Most of the players you mentioned don't fall into that catagory.

Draft Expectations

1-5: Hall of Famer

6-11: Multiple yr. all-star and 1 or 2 yrs all NBA

12-22: Contributing starter

23-40: Contributing bench player

41-60: Roster Filler/D-League guys.

If Carroll wasn't drafted by those goofs at Mem. i would say he's would be my pick for steal of the draft. Number two option would be Blair but I just don't like undersized guys with physical issues, history states that you won't get the same player you drafted 4yrs in(Larry Johnson perfect Ex.). So im left with Stephen Curry. Thats right im saying this guy will be a HOFer!|||Dejaun Blair, I MEAN HE GOT LIKE 19 REBOUNDS IN 22 MINUTES, THAT's CRAZY!!!! He is a beast.

EDIT:Glad you put Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers on that list, which maybe took you a long time to find and type.|||I have to say blair the sprus took him the seem to always get a good player i still think abount in 1999 when the had the pick to the last pick and it was manu no one that he be this good Manu Ginobili is the biggest steal all time and ever becaues there has never ben a player drafted 57 and was a all star so sprurs keep up the good luck geting blair. You can look on wki and see that in 1999 there wer only 58 players picked in the draft now its 60 Manu Ginobili was almost the last pick thats why he the biggest steal ever only way he can be top is if somone was drafted 60 pick and was a all star. I like to find out the real reason why he fall to 57 if you known send me a email but DeJuan Blair a big steal so is patrick mills and young

|||Chachi is the best|||Cheezy cheated. He's got a time machine in his basement.|||Looks similar to what I have seen on various website mock drafts. I don't know why people are placing Matt Ryan as # 1 draft pick. I have seen many of his games here in Boston and his decision making is questionable and he had 10 picks in 2006 and 19 picks in 2007.Not only that he didn't play well in the last few games of the season when BC just had to win 1 game to get a good bowl invite. But who knows the draft is always a roll of the dice .|||Couple of stand out mistakes i see....

Dorsey is way ahead of Merling and he will not go 10th

Cowboys signed Tank Johnson. and still have Ferguson. Why get another DT?

Calais Campbell won't slip to the second. He is a beast and I think he will go ahead of Harvey. ( hopefully the Cards pick him up )|||I like the Bears picks|||No way we pick up Matt Ryan.

Is ryan the best qb in the draft? Yes.

Is he worth first overall? No.

Give us either OT Jake Long or DE Chris Long. 2nd round is ok, but I like Gosder better as a RT.|||Pretty good, but i dont think Dorsey slips to Saints. No way will the Bengals pass him if hes there, and i dont care about his injuries|||uhh, I dought Glenn Dorsey will be tenth

Week 7... I need help on WR and RB?

This is who I have...

RB

Frank Gore

Cedric Benson

Jerious Norwood

Warrick Dunn

Sammy Morris

WR

Larry Fitzgerald

Ronald Curry

Shaun McDonald

This is who is available to pick up....

RB

DeAngelo Williams

Najeh Davenport

Kenton Keith

Carnell Williams

Leon Washington

Reuben Droughns

Justin Fargas

Ron Dayne

WR

Vincent Jackson

Mike Furrey

Arnaz Battle

Jerry Porter

Dennis Northcutt

Devin Hester

Andre Davis

Kevin Walter

Joe Jurevicius

Michael Jenkins

Marty Booker

I start 3 WR and 2 RB's and a W/R option. I know its not much to work with but its all that I have:) Help!!!|||WR - I would pick up Marty Booker %26amp; Kevin Walter (Booker is now Miami's #1 WR since Chambers was traded.) %26amp; (Walter is getting 100 Yards per game since Johnson was injured)

So I would go Booker / Walter / Fitzgerald.

RB - Frank Gore / Warrick Dunn.

Sammy Morris is hurt and Norwood and Benson haven't done much this season.

Good luck if you pick those hopefully they work out for you.|||Ouch! For RB you almost have to play Gore, even though he's having a sub-par year so far. He'll break out one of these weeks and you definitely want him in when it happens. Norwood is a decent start, only because Leftwich should help Atlanta spread the field some and open up some lanes underneath for him. Out of the RB's available I'd take Davenport. He should get some chances against the awful Bronco run defense.

WR I'd actually start the ones you've got.

If you pick up anyone you'd have to go with Andre Davis or Kevin Walter since both are starting, but who knows which one will get touches (Davis has two 100-yard games, Walter has one since Johnson got injured)

V. Jackson is on a bye

Furrey is option #4 on his team

Battle is on a team that sucks at the pass game

Hester is hit-or-miss

Jurevicius is also on a bye (and hurt)

Jenkins doesn't like it when the ball hits him on the hands

Booker may be a decent pick-up with Chambers gone, but Miami is in serious trouble now|||With Morris hurt you should see if Faulk is a free agent. He came in last week and ran for 97 yards I think. If you get points for punt returns, Leon Washington might be worth a shot. He has around 600 return yards on the season plus gets a few receptions a game. The only problem with him is he doesn't get many rushing yards. I would go with gore. With san frans passing game lacking he should do ok. Like I said before, if your league gets points for punt/kickoff returns, Hester might be someone to look at. The Bears are also starting to get him in on the offensive scheme a bit more. He had a 82 yard touchdown catch last weekend. He also had a 91 yard punt return for a touchdown. Some teams have not been kicking to him though. I would pick up kevin walter also. He's been doing pretty good lately. Norwood gets a few carries. He has 14 receptions on the year. He also returns kickoffs. If you're in a crunch this weekend, I would recommend these guys ONLY if you get points for return yards. That is except for Walter.

Also, is Bennett from Tampa Bay available? He's the starter right now filling in for the bucs injured running backs.

I agree with J-Dogg on starting the receivers you have now unless you want to take a chance.

The guy below said Carnell Williams. He is out for the season so he's not an option.|||rb keep gore, norwood pick up droughas trade dunn wr keep all your wr. ps sammy morris he on IR.|||rb Cedric Benson and Carnell Williams

wr Jerry Porter, Dennis Northcutt, and Joe Jurevicius.|||Frank Gore without question.

Cedric Benson could see success against a PHI run DEF who gave up 130 yards to Thomas Jones last week.

Larry Fitzgerald is your best bet here, not a great play, but if Warner and Boldin are both back this week it could open up the WAS DEF and create some opportunities.

Ronald Curry has been very productive against the Chiefs in the past and should continue that trend this week.

Jerious Norwood has the most potential to make big plays and plays a poor N.O. DEF this week.

RB: Gore, Benson

WR: Fitzgerald, Curry

FLEX: Norwood

I recommend playing Kevin Faulk in place of Norwood if he is hidden on the waiver wire, and I also suggest you drop Dunn for DeAngelo Williams who will be a better option once he gets back from a bye week.

I am playing Brady and need help on who to start.?

Their team:

Tom Brady

Houshmenzadeh, Braylon Edwards, Donald Driver

Joseph Addai Shaun Alexander

Dallas Clark

Jason Elam

Minnesota DEF

He is projected to get 107 points.

Right now my starting roster is

Peyton Manning

Reggie Wayne, Calvin Johnson, Randle El

Marion Barber, Adrian Peterson(Minn)

Donald Lee

Adam Vinatieri

Tennessee DEF

I am projected to get 90 points.

What to do. I have Philip Rivers, Todd Heap Kenton Keith Marvin Harrison Matt Stover and NE DEF. No brainer to not start philip river, kenton keith or NE DEF, but todd heap is better than lee but is injured may not play, harrison better wr but may not play. Vinatieri more points likely. I was thinking to drop stover for wr, top proj in FA are Hackett (1st week back) Jenkins (atl) roydell williams darrell jackson (prob) furrey, porter. Also i was thinking about getting vernon davis over donald lee. What would you do? Do I have a chance to win?|||i would dump heap (he's a so-so TE at best and you can always pick up better or same) and pick up hackett and maybe even david patten to plug in for calvin johnson (who's not 100% yet and DET still has pretty good 2nd stringers in furrey and macdonald) and randle el isn't all that consisten of a play.

and sure you've got a chance. between LT and the resurgent passing game in SD, minnesota DEF might be a liability to actually LOSE points this week. Alexander isn't the runner he used to be and donald driver is gimpy and is mainly serving as a decoy nowadays.

good luck|||You heard it first from me, if you don't start Rivers and Vernon Davis and bench Manning and Donald Lee you slim your chances of winning this week big time.

You are playing Brady and must take big risks this week. Only no brainer is you not starting Rivers against the Vikes pass "D" my friend. Winfield is more then likely out with a hammy so the Vikes are starting a rookie corner. Gates is going to have a field day as well with a 120 yards receiving and a TD!

Vernon Davis is Alex Smith's favorite target. D-Jack is going to be covered by Deangelo Williams all day and hasn't been any factor in the Frisco's offense! Harrison is going to play this week and I would start him any day of the week over 5ft 7 Randle El for the Skins!

Skull|||Don't use Heap until he starts producing. Not crazy about Randle El, but he may be your best option. Stick with Manning, lots of points in this game.

Ithink Chelios will have retired by then but w/him who knows

How does everyone see the roster playin out in 2yrs. I left off wild card prospects (Porter, Gerbe)|||Hockey USA has already stated that they will be going with younger players to Vancouver.

The third goaltender may be Robert Esche, he's a very good friend of Hockey USA and has represented them several times including 2006 in Turin.

For defense, both Erik and Jack Johnson are pretty much locks to be on the team as well as Ryan Suter. Tom Gilbert has impressed the brass at Hockey USA as well.

For forwards, Umberger will be there before Booth. Don't expect Gerbe to be there, Darcy Regier said yesterday that he's not ready for the NHL yet, and if he's not ready for the NHL now, he certainly won't be among America's 13 best forwards in 13 months (nor does he fit the Brian Burke model). I would be surprised if Knuble and Guerin are there as well as that does not fit Hockey USA's youth movement (and I would expect to see players such as Pandolfo, Chris Clark, and Ryan Kesler to get consideration as defensive players)|||No Kessel? Neither of the Johnson's will be ready? Komisarek? Whitney? Schneider an outside chance? Suter ready by then? Mueller? Blake Wheeler? How about Umberger, Chris Higgins? You need more youth...remember it is still over a year away.

Chelios, whether playing or not will not be there...if he is then that is a huge mistake.|||I think we should go back to the way it used to be and play with some college guys. Imagine the passion that that team would play with.|||Needs more Kessl.|||sounds good...go usa..|||yeah thats good but honestly we will get destroyed by canada or sweden or whoever. im american and im not afraid to admit that will suck|||forwards-

Help me with a title please?

I walk into the bedroom and smile. There she is, my beautiful wife and our two kids. Their black, straight hair is spread over the pillows their heads are resting on, their eyes closed. Today we had a pool party, which tired them out.

My wife, Kaya (KAY ah), is a Japanese beauty. She is a little shorter than I am and has long, black hair. Her eyes are grass green. they can light up a whole room. I simply adore the form of her eyes, it looks so feminine. She is thin and very beautiful. We鈥檝e been married for over 8 years and we have two kids: a daughter, Aika (eye KAH) and a son, Kane. Aika means beloved while Kane means two right hands or a spear. Not very cool, I know but we wanted names that were Japanese and still pronounceable for Americans. That was a real challenge.

Aika is seven and her brother is five.

Kaya carried our two children. Her name means resting place. It doesn鈥檛 mean 鈥榞rave鈥?but really a place where you can rest. Her name is chosen right because for me, she is a resting place.

Our best friends are Alice, Dana and Shane. Alice and Dana are an unmarried couple with one son, Keith who is 6.

Shane is a free bird. She is a true Casanova and ***** every girl that she can鈥?which is 99% of the girls she meets. I do believe she can love someone but just doesn鈥檛 allow herself to; she is too scared to get hurt.

Oh, yeah, I鈥檓 Tina Kennard. I work at Alpha Ville and I love my job. Next to my family, it鈥檚 the most important thing in my life. Film is my passion. I love to see how it develops, the whole process. I think a film is always much better than the written version. Yes, you can read the thoughts of the characters in a book but a movie really lets you see what鈥檚 going on.

I am happy. I mean, I am as happy as I can be. I have a wife that loves me and cares for me. I have two beautiful children and I have friends that would do anything for me. I live in a nice house. I have a good job and I have nothing to complain about really. But I lost her. I lost the one woman I鈥檒l always love the most. The love of my life.

Elizabeth Georgia Porter. Bette Porter. We had seven gorgeous years together and then鈥?she disappeared. I woke up one morning and she was gone. We had made love the whole night and then we had fallen asleep in each other鈥檚 arms. The only thing I found was a note on her pillow and with that, she was gone.

Dear Tina,

I鈥檓 sorry for leaving. I can鈥檛 explain why right now but just know that my departure is not your fault. I did this to protect you, to keep you safe. Being with me is dangerous for you at the moment and I love you too much to be selfish and stay with you. All I ever wanted was to spend my life by your side but I don鈥檛 think it will be possible. Please, Tee, try to move on. Just never forget me鈥?Keep me in mind and I鈥檒l always be with you, every step of the way. Be happy without me, live your life and know that you will always be the one for me. You will always be on my mind.

Yours forever,

Bette.

I still have her note, I even took copies for if I ever lost it, I can still read it. I don鈥檛 know why she left鈥?at all. The only thing I know that she didn鈥檛 return. I waited for two years. My life was a living hell. The only thing I could do was cry and work. That was all I did鈥?I ached for Bette but she was gone.

Then I met Kaya. She worked as cleaning lady at Alpha Ville. She was sweet and didn鈥檛 push me into anything. Still, one night, I told her everything. I don鈥檛 know why I told her鈥?Actually, I do know why I told her. She was the only one who really talked to me. She didn鈥檛 just ask about work, no, she asked me how I was. Why I had been crying. When I said I didn鈥檛 want to talk about it, she backed off immediately but every time we saw each other, she asked me and after a while, I just poured everything out. She was stunned and a little shocked. What could have been the reason for Bette鈥檚 departure?

After that night of crying on my side and comforting on Kaya鈥檚 side, we became inseparable. The first 5 months we were friends, we would go out or eat dinner together鈥?always because Kaya practically dragged me out of the house telling me Bette wouldn鈥檛 want me to be alone all the time. We spend time together and then, one night, we kissed. It was a nice, soft, short kiss. Everything a first kiss should be. I didn鈥檛 feel that glorious burning sensation in my stomach whenever I kissed Bette but I felt a feeling of鈥?comfort I guess.

That鈥檚 what Kaya has always been for me: comfort. I love her, don鈥檛 get me wrong. I love her deeply but I will always love Bette more. I know Bee had flaws but gosh, she was so ******* perfect.|||I think you could probably come up with a better title, to be honest. But I think you need to focus on editing and finishing the story before you start choosing the title.

Also some bands are missing: The Carter Family, The Cox Family, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Highway 101, The Cowboy Junkies, Sweethearts of the Rodeo, The Wreckers, and Shenandoah.|||The Only One I See Not On There Is Tim McGraw.

I am so screwed! Who should I start or pick up?

I am 2 - 4 and injuries and bye weeks are killing me.

I need to start 2 of the following RB's:

Clinton Portis vs ARI - obvious start

Ladell Betts vs ARI - he usually gets a handful of carries

Kenton Keith @ JAX - Addai's backup. Is Addai playing? Will Keith get any carries?

Michael Bennet @ DET - just traded to TB. Is he even going to play?

The only free agents available are...Kevin Faulk, Leon Washington, Tatum Bell, Justin Fargas

I need 2 of these 3 WR's:

Calvin Johnson vs TB - is he recovered from injury?

Joey Galloway @ DET

Patrick Crayton vs MIN

I can get free agents like Porter, Curry, Toomer, or Burelson.

And at TE I have Ben Watson who probably won't start.

My free agent options are Bubba Franks, Eric Johnson, Greg Olsen|||WELL I WOULD PICK UP FAULK MORRIS IS OUT FOR SURE AND MARONEY MIGHT NOT PLAY EOTHER SO I WOULD GO WOTH FAULK AND PORTIS.. I WOULD ALSO PROBABLY START JOHNSON HE LOOKS TO BE RECOVERED AND TRYTO GET BURLESON WHO WAS A STARTER LAST WEEK IF YOU CANT GET BURLSON I WOULD START CRAYTON AND GREG OLSEN IS PROBABLY THE BEST OPTION TO PICK UP HE HAS AVEREGED BAOUT 60 YARDS THE LAST 2 GAMES

GOOD LUCK|||i would bench ladell betts, in fact, im about to drop him as he is useless, even if portis gets hurts and cant play who cares, its not like portis has been racking up the fantasy points lately...however, portis might be a decent start against the cards defense...id hold off on kenton as im pretty sure addai will be back...and as for michael bennet...thats a tough call, but if earnest graham is available this may be his week to get ya some points as detroit has a terrible defense against the run...Faulk may be useful if sammy morris is still out...im definitely starting crayton this week and so should you...joey galloway may have some success but i can see why toomer and burleson make for nice options as receivers this weekend..just look at the teams they are playing...crap and more crap...as for TE i think bubba franks is injured so donald lee will steal his stats once the packers get off their bye which i think is week 7...id go for olsen..philies secondary is still rather banged up and providing griese doesnt suck too bad his TE's may see some action in the end zone...|||Addai will probably play this week. he has had 2 weeks off and should be ready to play. I would start Betts and Bennet. The cardinals have only allowed two 100 yard games this year. they have stopped Gore, Alexander, and willie Parker this year. So I would not start Portis and start Bettis since he gets most of the goal line carries.

Pick up Toomer and start cal Johnson. and start Ben Watson|||You better pick up Faulk. He is starting this week for the pats and they are playing the 31st rush defense, Miami.

At WR I would start Johnson...he is better, and crayton and Galloway.

TE: might as well pick up Olsen...he is getting hot.|||RBs

Portis- definately start him

Faulk- New England is playing an awful Miami defense, so pick him up and start him if he gets the start for the Pats

Keith- the Jags have a great run defense, so I'd keep him on the bench

Bennett- I don't know how much he's gonna play, but keep him on the radar

WRs

Crayton- the Cowboys will probably be passing all day, so start him

Johnson- Detroit has many choices when it comes to receivers and I don't know how healthy he'll be, so bench him for now

Galloway- he's Jeff Garcia's main target so start him

TE

Watson- start him if he plays

Olsen- pick him up if Watson doesn't play|||I dont know if bennett is starting at all wait and see. start Galloway and crayton, I like curry and porter. get greg olsen for injury. Johnson is still out dont start him. I think Addai is ready to come back. I would play Portis and Betts. Nobody else good on waiver through RB. What happened to ur team man. I know injuries can hurt. Where is all of the good players?|||Not Keith because Addai will be starting that game baring anything happening in the next few days.

Portis - obvious start but you know that already.

Galloway vs Det - their pass D is in mad need of help and Garcia is on target..no picks and Galloway as a target.

Crayton vs Min - he's going to get looks his way and he just needs to convert them into positive gains

TE - Olsen|||Definitely pick up Greg Olsen if you can. Start Crayton for sure, Minnesota has a killer run defense but a not so hot pass defense. Joey Galloway or Calvin Johnson is a tough call. If the pass happy Detroit lions show up it might be worth starting Johnson. But consider that he is coming off of an injury and may not be up to game speed yet. Start Galloway. He should have a good game whether its a shoot out or not because the lions defense is not so good. I would drop Betts and pick up the Bengals Kenny Watson at RB this week against the Jets. Even if Rudi Johnson does return, Watson will see most of the action.

Anyways, to make a 6 hour match short, Triple H.|||John "against all odds" Cena {who else}|||My Son, The Undertaker! Oh Yess!|||edge the rated r super why bcuz member all tha other battle royals|||Batista... How will they all fit in one ring?|||Damn, son...that's one long list.

I'll say Chris Benoit, because he is a true wrestling god.|||Boogeyman or Little Boogeyman, they'd probably scare everyone out with the worms.|||hhh OR THE uNDERTAKER|||umm.... gangrel?|||My final 5 would be

"Sick" Nick Mondo

The Great Khali

Paul London

Jimmy Wang Yang

Shannon Moore

It might seem weird but when when it comes to talent, these guys are at the top of the line, whoever the WWE will never give them big money and titlte runs.|||If it were up to me, I would definitely say Jeff Hardy!! He is the best to me!!!|||John Cena would win he cannot lose haven't you ever watched wrestling?|||Chris Benoit

BENOIT RULES|||You forgot about DSW (Deep South Wrestling), andd this is a tough one:

Kahli, Umaga, Visera, Boogyman, Kane, Tazz, Hardcore Holly, Thorn, and Snitsky would be the last guys remaining.|||Edge, Little Boogeyman or, Boogeyman.

Was that the longest typing you've ever done?!|||KANE!!!!|||MR. KENNEDY

KENNEDY|||Shannon Moore!!!!!!!!!!|||Edge would merder them all!|||snitsky|||WOW, what a list. I would have Randy, Benoit and Edge in the remaining 3. And I would think Beniot would win it.|||For typing that much heres a star. RKO would win or Hornswoggle (if hes on there)|||Get a life!!!

Oh, by the way...CM Punk.|||little boogeyman will win he will hide in khali or visceras pants.|||John cena would win|||You spent all your time typing that?

shelton benjamin would win|||i have no second thought , it's going to be the prince of darkness.|||WOWZERS... thats a hella long list... but id go with John Cena... you know how he "overcomes the odds" so often... why wouldnt they make him this time.. or even lashley.... god vince is gay...|||Undertaker|||I would Jeff Hardy to win but, probaly Undertaker,Kane,Snitsky,Umaga or The Great Khali would win

Which current/recently-retired nba players are likely to become coach/executives?

i noticed a lot of recognizable ex-players have become coaches, analysts, or executives including

analysts: reggie miller, charles barkley, kenny smith, mark jackson, kevin johnson, chris webber, gary payton

executives: danny ferry, steve kerr, joe dumars, chris mullin, isiah thomas, rex chapman

head coach: michael curry, scott brooks, terry porter, avery johnson, nate mcmillan, vinny del negr0, byron scott, sam mitchell, scott skiles, keith smart

assistants: damon stoudamire, shareef abdur-rahim, darrell armstrong, aaron mckie, patrick ewing, tyrone hill, adrian griffin, brian shaw, dan majerle, chuck person, mark price, mario elie, herb williams, randy brown, doug overton, monty williams, mark bryant, ed pinckney

besides obvous knowledge to the game, they are more often point guards rather than big men, active in the players association (michael curry, patrick ewing), won sportsmanship/citizenship award (joe dumars, avery johnson, doc rivers, terry porter, alex english, magic johnson, kevin johnson, isiah thomas, michael cooper, dan issel, frank layden)

i think it is likely that chauncey billups, jason kidd, derek fisher, eric snow, steve nash, chris duhon, antonio davis, grant hill, ray allen, jose calderon, james posey, andre miller are all potential future head coaches.

who else can you see as future coaches?|||Damn that Kerr!!!! Look at he's done to Phoenix. They didn't even make it to the playoffs this year. Also that Terry Porter. Anyway. Well, most of your choices are the same as mine.

Billups, Nash, Kidd, Miller, Calderon, Allen, Hill. I think they'll be coaches. So will Tony Parker, LeBron James, Maurice Williams, Jameer Nelson, Tracy McGrady, Dwayne Wade, Kevin Garnett, Sam Cassell, Deron Williams, Devin Harris and many more.|||I can somehow see Lamar Odom as a good coach

Tell me why One-Nil is exciting?

Boston...the BEST SPORTS TOWN ON EARTH!!!!|||Seahawks will take it.|||AFC-

1. New England

2. Denver

3. Baltimore

4. Indianapolis

5. Jacksonville

6. San Diego

NFC-

1. New Orleans

2. Dallas

3. San Fransisco

4. Green Bay

5. St. Louis

6. Chicago

it cannot possibly be the same as last year in both conferences. chicago will be different seeing how they lost their DC and some key players. i predict them to undergo a lot of injuries this year. packers D is looking promising. St Louis has the talent, failed last year in terms of team unity.

In the AFC, i predict San Diego to undergo drastic changes under turner. new coach, new plays, new philosophy=different outcome. jacksonville is very underrated and have potential.|||Steelers and the dolphins they didnt even have a winning record how bout the ravens. the top 5 should be like this 1.Chargers 2.Pats 3.Ravens 4.Colts 5.Titans

NFC looks ok except panthers|||What have you been smoking? The Panthers are garbage with or without Delhomme. The Saints will win it all.

I need a wr for week 6.?

My team:

Peyton (BYE) Philip Rivers

Randel El, Muhsin Muhammed, Calvin Johnson (BYE) Marvin Harrison (BYE) Reggie Wayne (BYE)

Marion Barber, Adrian Peterson, Kenton Keith (BYE-picked up last week due to a bye from peterson)

Todd Heap

Stover and Vinatieri

NE def and Tenn def

Top projected wr in FA

Porter(8) Urban and Brown (7) Jenkins, Henderson, James Jones (6) a bunch at 4 and 5 projected

What would you do? Who would you pickup and who would you drop? Also, What Def would you start? NE or TEN. potential shootout in Dallas (many points low def score) or Ten (playing weak TB offense)|||James Jones is the guy I would go with. He is becoming a favorable target of Brett Farve. Expect 6 catches, 80yrds and a TD. As for D, Tenn has the better matchup but I think New England has a better chance at getting some turnovers. Rodney Harrison has a game under his sleeve and should be a force over the middle. They will force Romo into some mistakes similar to what Buffalo did. Buffalo exposed some things about Romo last week and I think New England will take it to him and force him into making more bad decsions.|||Start Ten Defense. Pick up Mason if available vs weak Rams D or Bobby Engram seattle vs NO... Is Watson available ( has 5 td's ) or Winslow/Witten? I think Randle El will have a good game and M.Muhammed should get a TD, what about J Cotchery? Available? I wish I knew the scoring criteria in your league as to better answer your question.|||Going for Joey Porter of Oakland on the road versus a Charger team that looked like it got its act together may be risky. San Diego has a far more superior front seven than the dolphina who he ran ragged over.

Devery Henderson may have had a few drops in last weeks game, but the Saints are due to have a breakout game. he may only have 8 catches, but it's for over 140 yards and he is starting sunday versus seattle.

----i would roll the dice on henderson for WR. porter may get electrocuted versus San diego.----

i would drop one of your kickers for the simple necessity that the 1st ranked kicker versus the 15th ranked kicker will only be a mere 10-15 points. only have a 2nd kicker to cover a bye week.

i am a diehard patrots fan, but i would still choose tennessee's defense versus a tamp a bay offense with no consistency at RB. the cadillac is in the shop for repairs for the rest of the year and pittman is banged up to. jeff garcia may have some magic in his arm, but his O-Line isnt anything to do backflips over ... unless he's getting sacked by Waynesworth. for NE/DAL ... you got the two most electrifying offenses going blow for blow with each other sunday. anythng less than 55 points scored by this game would be a dissappointment.

to recap:

drop one of your kickers

pick up henderson wr new orleans

start ten def

enjoy your win.|||If i were you i would pick up Porter because that is Oaklands #1 WR..

and culpepper threw 2 TDs to him..

he should get a good game this week..

For DEF you should start NE...

Romo could play like he did last week..

which is great numbers for buffalo...

NE is one of the best teams in the leageu..

having the least pass yards and rush yards...

they are 2nd in points in most leagues...

behind the VIKES...
