If you are applying for a cost accounting position, you need to show either your skills in cost accounting or why you like that type of work. You are a very detail oriented person who likes to dig for information. I often use my Philosophy degree as a positive and explain that the degree taught me to dig deeper into ideas and then the ability to explain the information or the reasons for it in a way that others can understand it. You can find information all you want, but you have to be able to explain it to the people that can affect the information.
