I have some older computers that I wanted to get recycled. Basically monitors, printers, keyboards, and stuff like that. I have disposed of the hard drive towers already.

Does information still stay on the PC monitor afterwards if it would get plugged in by somebody?|||no it does not. thats like asking if a movie projector still retains information after the film has been removed. the monitor only acts as a means of displaying data. the actual data is stored in the computer.|||no the monitor only displays what is being shown from the pc. it does not store data|||Simply put, no. Not unless it was an older monitor, and you left the information up for several months. Then it may have "burned in", but it is not going to display anything other than what the computer it is hooked up to is telling it to display.|||no not at all the only thing that will store all ur information is the hard drive if u want to throw out ur pcs take out all the hard drives and just store them in ur house???

y throw out the PC's when u can fix them all lol ill take one if u dont mind if its not bad u can fix them and make them work as new

basucally all the moniter does is display wat ur computer wants it too nothing will ever get stored on it

only lik the resolution screen positioning etc volume setting will get stored thats it
