When a finance company, say a car dealership or realtor calls your place of business for proof of your employment, what information are they legally allowed to give. What can they not give? I typically google this stuff myself but nothing I find matches my question exactly. Thanks in advance!|||They typically verify your employment dates and salary. For the most part there are no restrictions on what they reveal, as long as it's factual.
