The only other guy I like at all is Harrold Reynolds. Peter Gammons too if he wasnt such a Red Sox guy.|||Joe Buck does a great play by play. He keeps it light while staying focused on the important plays and aspects of the game. All the other announcers pretty much suck.|||I have taken you off my contact list for your last two completely ignorant questions.

.|||Yes, Vin Scully sucks. Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way. Hawk Harrelson used to be okay, but he's lost it. The best ever was Curt Gowdy.|||ESPN's Jon Miller is pretty darn good (Joe Morgan is just ok).


Pittsburgh's Lanny Frattare is good also (but I will always miss Bob Prince). Ole Vin is well past his prime but was pretty good back in the day. However, the fact of the matter is that the days of the baseball broadcaster is past. There are no more Herb Scores, Harry Careys, Bob Uekers, Mel Allens, or Phil "Holy Cow" Rizzutos waiting in the wings to fill the ever widening gap.
