How much personal information can they require of you and which ones can you refuse because of your right to privacy? It is not a financial application per se that is involved. Can they refuse your application legally if there are private questions you refuse to answer? Where can one read about these laws?|||They can ask you anything they want, aside from questions relating to the various protected classes: race, gender, ethnicity, religion, age, or disability. The school MAY have forms that relate to this information, or may ask about such things, particularly disabilities, after offering you a spot in the school, but may not mix this information with the admissions information or consider any of that information when making its admissions decision.|||It depends on what you consider "personal"...

Your grades are allowed to be a factor.
Your mental abilities are allowed to be a factor (to some degree).
Your criminal record MAY be a factor but technically hard to prove or resist.
Your money and the money of your parents (if you are 23 or under) are a factor.

If you give more details, then you will get a better answer.|||Hey it's No*no
I have no idea. Call the school. G.B.
