I am wondering if personal information can be obtained from packets, like IP addresses, which websites I was using and what information I sent and received from those websites. Is all of that contained in packets? What other information can be gotten from packets?|||Pretty much any data exchanged between your computer and the internet (like the source and destination, websites' URL and their contents, and any other info sent/received). If you want to see it for yourself, you can try a popular network protocol analyzer called Wireshark. It's free, too! :)
