I have a friend that has had a child abuse claim reported against her. There is no validity in this claim at all. I have been doing research for her, but there's very little info available. I was just wondering if there was anyone who had information, or could tell me where to find it.|||Regardless of how the claim was initiated, CPS must do an investigation. They will come to her house, look at the child(ren) and see they have food, clothes, diapers, a place to sleep. They will look at the child, for any hand-shaped bruises. If all is well, they will leave. They'll be back in about 2 months to close the case as unfounded, as long as they have no reason to believe there is any wrongdoing
