I have a netbook computer that I purchased for work but I ended up only using it for a few months.

Now, I have no use for it and would like to sell it.

How can I delete ALL of the information on this computer? I used it once or twice to pay my bills and there are probably some traces of information from work documents etc.
What's the best way to completely wipe it and have it reset to it's original state?

Thanks in advance!|||burn it|||Reinstall windows with your recovery disc's (3 disc's) that you made when you first turned on the computer.|||install windows again|||1. Create a new admin user

And here is how to do that: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_qu鈥?/a>
But it will lower your re-sell price AND is not necessary.
Peter Gutmann, a computer scientist, developed an algorithm for securely erasing the contents of computer hard drives. Known as the Gutmann method. (Explained here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gutmann_met鈥?/a> (And in easier layman's terms here: http://www.zimbio.com/Data+Recovery/arti鈥?/a>
The tool can be found in Piriform's "CCleaner." Here are some reviews: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.鈥?/a>
You can go to FileHippo for a free download.

How to clean:
-Install CCleaner
-Click on "Tools"
-Click on "Drive Wiper"
-Under "wipe" drop down menu, select "Entire drive"
-Under "security" drop down menu, select "Gutmann (35 passes)"
-Under "drive" box, check all boxes.
That's it!
